An evening of Balinese art, culture , music and dance in a traditional Balinese village
Join us for an enchanting evening immersed in the rich and authentic Balinese culture. Experience a captivating showcase of art, dance, and music under the twinkling stars, set in a traditional Bali village near Ubud. By attending this event, you will not only be entertained but also supporting the remarkable Togetherness Project.
Prepare to be enthralled by 24 talented dancers and 45 skilled musicians who will grace the stage. The passionate youth from the village have dedicated months of training to express their deep connection with Balinese culture through this mesmerising performance. They are eagerly looking forward to this opportunity to showcase their talents.
Immerse yourself further in the local community by meeting the talented woman weavers who will be present at the event. They will offer you the chance to purchase exquisite traditional handwoven cloth, created with great skill and dedication. By buying directly from these weavers, including the youth who are keeping this cherished tradition alive, you contribute to the preservation of their cultural heritage.
Delight your taste buds with a delectable array of traditional Balinese food, meticulously prepared by several ladies from the community. Most of the ingredients used in these culinary delights are sourced from the village's organic farm, ensuring a truly authentic and sustainable dining experience.
Please note that this is a non-profit event, although any donations offered are greatly appreciated. The donations will cover the costs of the food, and any surplus funds will be directed to the Togetherness Project Yayasan to acquire dance costumes. Furthermore, the esteemed leader of the Banjar Made Astawa will share insights into his tireless efforts in building a sustainable tourism model for his community.
