Community Based Tourism

We are pleased to announce the launch of community-based tourism experiences in traditional villages in Bali

If you are interested to learn about Bali culture, having an immersive experience in a traditional Bali village, connecting with the Balinese people and their families, experiencing delicious Balinese food, and having a truly authentic non-touristy experience then these are for you.

It seems many people come to our beautiful island of Bali but very few really experience Bali culture and be part of the day-to-day life for a day.

These are connecting experiences, as the Balinese community wants to freely share their passions and gifts through collaborative co-creation. That is what togetherness tours are all about.

This is a grass-roots initiative designed to bring people together from different cultures, countries, and backgrounds in a spirit of respect for each other's ways of life and an opportunity to learn from each other.

Indigenous wisdom dictates that connectivity through a platform of spiritual unity enables diversity and differences to be understood, acknowledged, respected, and accepted.

The Togetherness Project (Kebersamaan in Indonesian language) brings together people from Bali, Indonesia and around the world in the spirit of working together to build a more sustainable, live-able world, based on the Tri Hita Karina principals from Bali, of respect for nature, the gods and each other.

We believe when we combine our different ways of thinking, cultural differences, skills and passion the possibilities are endless and we have the power to change our world in a positive way.

The Togetherness Project works with the communities in which it serves, to create sustainable jobs, education and long term benefits to the community.

We organise events to bring people together in the spirit of love, care and appreciation to bring more awareness to the challenges that these communities face.

“Nothing in nature lives for itself,

Rivers don’t drink their own water,

Trees don’t eat their own fruit,

The sun doesn’t shine for itself,

A flower’s fragrance is not for its own validation,

Living for each other is the rule of nature.”

— The Togetherness Project

Together, we have the power to uplift Indonesian communities' economic endeavours through the transformative potential of social enterprise
